Two things that deserve a spotlight - @captureone and @reallyniceimages and, well, me (stepped out of my comfort zone for this one, lol), so technically three things.

For those who’ve been rocking with me and the ones just joining in, y’all know my photography style is rooted in my love for film—getting the richest, most engaging colors I can in post. Two key tools that help me bring that vision to life? @captureone and @reallyniceimages.

I know a lot of y’all still use Lightroom, but if you’re looking to level up and add more depth to your edits, @captureone is the way to go. It’s packed with resources, and when you pair it with the variety of film profiles @reallyniceimages offers, it’s a beautiful combo.

It was absolutely an amazing time, and I definitely learned a lot and got some really dope content. So I decided why not put my editing skills to the test and see what I could create. Yall let me know how you think I did in the poll!

A big thing for me this year is putting out more of my video content that I create, and letting brands and potential clients know what I can offer them, if they work with me. I’m a big fan of shooting activations and events, especially ones that allow me to be creative and interact with the people. QUICK TIP: for all my creatives always make sure you’re prepared. A lot of times for these type of productions, a lot of things move fast and you gotta keep up with the pace and all the moving parts! Also I shot this in 24fps and at a 1/160 shutter speed✌🏿

So fun fact we shot this in about ur 15 - 20 minutes and these images came out beautifully and it was honestly one of my first times doing something where I had to highlight apparel but just doing it in my style and my way. So shoutout to the team and just thankful for this day🙏🏿🫶🏿

“Finding the perfect location is all about using the right resources, working with amazing counterparts, and trusting my instincts. Whether it’s scouting based on a moodboard or spotting a hidden gem on the go, every location I choose is a blend of concept, creativity, and networking📍

Key Things to takeaway

- Save locations, take a picture and send it to yourself (extra tip: you organize them and categorize them for later)

- Talk to your counterparts and your colleagues. Make damn connections, becuase that is the most important thing when it comes to being a creative. You gotta talk to people but use your discernment to know what’s for you and not

- lastly, storyboard and build on your concepts. That will save you a lot of time and headaches! And not to mention it literally helps you create the vision and outline the story for each image!
